The Last Stand (Legend of LooTz) was created in May of 2021 to embody the culture and community behind Pirate Chain and the world-wide freedom movement. It was inspired by the story of LooTz, a legendary force behind the evolution of ARRR. Footage from this music video was taken at a multitude of 2021 blockchain conferences, such as: Anarchapulco, Miami Crypto Experience, Porcupine Freedom Festival, and FreedomFest.
This project was a voluntary, self-funded collaboration between fungible currency Pirate Chain and artist BLUVNBU. No payment was given to either party. This is solely for entertainment purposes only. Not all guests in this video are affiliated with Pirate Chain and BLUVNBU.
lyrics
The Last Stand (Legend of LooTz)
I work to eat, and sleep, and just repeat
I wonder is this the life for me
I followed all the rules and did my best
But, tragedy put my will to the test
When I found some answers I spoke up
Then, I was casted to the shadows, they chained me up
No, I won’t forget the things that they said
And you don’t know the places I have been
People, said that I was wrong
All along, I stayed strong
Yo Ho
Batten down the hatches
This is the calm before the storm
The system has been broken
And soon will be no more
The tools they can enslave us
Or they can set us free
This is the last stand for our freedom and our privacy
No, I won’t forget the things that they said
And you don’t know the places I have been
People, said that I was wrong
All along, I stayed strong
I’m gonna change the world for you my son
Here I am, right where I belong
Yo Ho, Yo Ho
Now we have a chance to tear this down
So we can build again and make it sound
People, said that I was wrong
All along, I stayed strong
I’m gonna change the world for you my son
Here I am, right where I belong
Yo Ho, Yo Ho
Yo Ho, Yo Ho, Yo Ho
