Every time I look and see the ground beneath my feet
The sun, the sky, it’s all a part of me
When I think I’ve fallen like a shooting star
I wake up and wonder, wonder where we are

Then I started searching for answers I was hurting
Some things did not add up
I was digging myself deeper
The truth became much clearer
Why had I been in the dark

The town that I’m from, it couldn’t get smaller

Now that I’m free and I’m finally on my way

They shut me down and called me crazy
